3.2 Content protection by tags

Estimated reading: 1 minute 60 views

The Content Protection by Tags feature in Connector Wizard lets you restrict access to a page, course, or custom post type based on specific tags assigned to a logged-in user.

Important:A WordPress user must log in to access this page; otherwise, they will not be able to view it.

When editing a page or post, you’ll see the Required Tags section inside the Content Protection box (see in sidebar).

Options:

1. Required Tags

  • Enter one or more tags that a user must have to access this page.
  • If the logged-in user does not have at least one of the required tags, they will be restricted.

2. And Required Tags

  • Use this field to enforce additional mandatory tags.
  • The user must have at least one tag from this list, along with at least one tag from the previous section, to access the page.

Tip: Tag-based content protection is very powerful when combined with automations. For example, after a purchase, you can assign a tag to a user, granting them access to exclusive content automatically.
